Life is a journey filled with ups and downs, moments of joy, seasons of hardship, and everything in between. As Muslims we are reminded that no matter what phase we are going through our ultimate refuge is with Allah (SWT).
“And whoever relies upon Allah, then He is sufficient for him.”
(Surah At-Talaq 65:3)
This verse isn’t just a comforting quote it’s a promise from our Creator. When we place our reliance on Him, we’re not handing over our responsibilities, but rather we are acknowledging that the outcome lies in His hands. We do our best, and then we trust His plan.
Sometimes, things won’t go the way we imagined. A job might fall through, a friend might leave, or we may face unexpected trials. In these moments, Shaytan tries to whisper doubts in our hearts, "Why is this happening to you?"
But the believer remembers: Allah never abandons His servant.
Just like the Prophet Ayyub (AS) remained patient through years of illness, and just like the Prophet Yusuf (AS) endured false accusations and prison, we too must persevere knowing that with every hardship comes ease.
“Undoubtedly, along with the hardship there is ease.”
(Surah Ash-Sharh 94:6)
Let us use our good days to thank Allah, and our hard days to get closer to Him. Prayers made with tears in the middle of the night are not forgotten. Struggles borne with patience are not wasted.
So whatever you're facing today take a deep breath, make dua, and trust that Allah’s plan is more beautiful than what you had in mind.
May Allah grant us firm tawakkul (trust), sabr (patience), and contentment with His decree. Ameen.
